Kishan was the teaching fellow on my cp3 course last year. He was an enthusiastic and committed tutor, who was responsive to the learning needs of the group. Where appropriate, his tutorials applied some of the latest research findings on learning theory to maximise the educational potential of the session. I, along with other students on the course, was very grateful he was the module lead for what was a stressful time for us prior to finals exams. Since I have become a foundation doctor, Kishan has continued to support my career development and to offer valuable advice when sought. He is one of only a few teaching fellows who genuinely seem to want the best for their current and former students.

Kishan put on an excellent interview preparation day for prospective medical students, as well as a work experience programme, both of which I was fortunate enough to attend. Both the interview day and the work experience were extremely well organised, and useful, constructive feedback was given individually throughout, which was invaluable to me in obtaining a place at medical school. Kishan was obviously well aware of the demands of the selection process for medical school, and therefore the events were always well focused and always acutely relevant to us.

Extraordinarily hard working young doctor. Always has time to discuss people's concerns and works so hard not only as a doctor, but also as a healthcare campaigner with national reach.

Dr Kishan Rees was my teaching fellow while I was on placement at Lincoln County Hospital. He really cares about his students and goes the extra mile to help them out. For example he helped me record a teaching video to add to my CV. He continues to offer me support despite the fact I am no longer on placement at Lincoln. Overall a very good teaching fellow.

I have had the pleasure of working with kishan in the emergency dept and within his teaching/mentoring role with our undergrads. His knowledge, patience and passion for medicine, patients and education shine through and we are very lucky to have him. Thank you kishan :-)
